Today the leaders of the 20 most powerful financial countries in the world gather together in central London for the G20 summit. The objective is to discuss and reach agreement on a truly global way to solve the worlds financial crisis. But i thought i might bring you some of the latest news and pictures from the event. I believe that at the last minute, they changed the agenda for discussions. Now the 20 most powerful countries in the world are planning to discuss some new topics. The new topics of discussion are;

3. Is there other life in the universe?
4. How can the G20 summit help find alien life?
5. Does Barrack Obama run SETI@home on his PC in the White House?
6. Does Gordan Brown BOINC?
7. Can Russia President Dimitry Medvedev find ET before the darn Americans?
8. Is it true that Japan's prime minister Taro aso BOINC's every night for 1 hour before bed time?

The world will try to answer these and other pressing questions at the G20 summit in London!

German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel updates British Prime Minister Gordon Brown about the on-going battle for the No.1 spot on the SETI@home top teams ranking list. Dr Merkel confesses that although SETI.USA are good, they will never again beat SETI.Germany in the SETI@home ranking list. She also confesses that she loves to crunch Astropulse work units on Sunday mornings, just after breakfast.

United States Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, United States of America President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Gordon Brown start discussing the nitty gritty for searching for other life in the universe. Barack and Gordan discuss the various ways they are searching for ET. But US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has his own plans to concentrate on scanning the Hydrogen Line at 1420Mhz. There could be a split before the end of the day!

Gordon Brown and Russian president Dmitry Medvedev slip away by themselves to run some SETI@home on Dmitry's new Intel Xeon CPU E5420 2.50GHz with 8 processors.
