What will the Japanese come up with next! Not quite ready for runway time. If you read the details you will see that it's not safe to use around real people. But what I really like is the fact that they are making the control software open source so users can program thier own moves. I can imagine a pair in a store window after some kid with a lap top reprograms them. I'll leave that to imaginations. |

To quote Michael Criton "Just because you can, does not mean you should." AMEN! It's hard enough on me seeing human models in all their beauty. Now, even the robot model looks better than I. Yes there are projects in the U.S. Carnnegie-Mellon Robotics Institute |

To quote Michael Criton "Just because you can, does not mean you should." This gets into the realm of self recognition and artificial intelligence. Who is to say we humans are not a form of artificial inteligence, and that our self recognition (I think there for I am) is a truism? Identity is purely an axiom. Though we believe it we can not prove it. So then my dorky mind then wonders if my self recognition is a sub thought from my intelligence, in order to reinforce my survival dynamic which may actually be an artificial apparatus in itself? Oh goodness the circle of philosophy is never ending. Well Im gonna go check the perimiter with Starbuck and Appollo to make sure no centurians get in. -Articulas "Every Choice Makes a Sacrifice" |
