I assume, your cache is full of Astropulse WU´s. Finish them first, and you will get Cuda WU´s.

Just a guess.

So I'm CUDA capable... and yet... I was getting only CPU calculations.

Do I have to select a project that has CUDA work units or could it be seti@home for example ??

Hi polopiryna500,
Yes, you need to attach to one of the projects that are using CUDA. Seti is one and there is also GPUGRID and Milkyway that are doing them. I believe there are more but I don't know which other projects are doing it right now.

Once you attach to one of the projects it should detect your card and send you the right work.

and Milkyway

Not Milkyway. Milkyway needs double-precision, which not many Nvidia cards do. So there it's restricted to a 3rd party (user made) ATI application for the 3800, 4800 and FireStream 9200 series cards only. This application is using the anonymous platform, it isn't available as stock (provided by the project) application.

The Lattice Project just started a test run with CUDA WUs.

Ok, seti, in it's infinite wisdom has sent you 4 AP V5 work units. I would suggest you go to your Accounts webpage, seti preferences, and uncheck AP, AP V5 and the if no work options in there. Also make sure enhanced, use cpu and use GPU are checked.

Hi,
did what You suggested... now I get:

2009-03-25 13:08:43|SETI@home|Message from server: (Project has no jobs available)

I guess if it's not one thing, it's the other... :/

And expect that to last for at least another couple of days since Seti isn't making any new work at the moment. Read the front page news.
