[quote]Good morning gang. Time to wake up TL and SJ hope you don't blow it too.

No blower here, We haven't had snow since December, In any case I'm up and the sun is in My eyes as I type, The sunlight comes in through a gap in the window blinds on My houses windows.

We had some snow here (sort of). At least it was snow until it actually hit the ground.

. . . eh Scott, Joker, Mike and John - hope all is well w/ each of you

Reasonably well, Now that My Verizon DSL problem from Yesterday is over and I know how much of a reduction in My next SSI/SSP check is going to be($907 in April, From May '09 until further notice is now $870, SSA says It's out of their hands as It's a state matter(CA)) all thanks to the State of California Legislature, The Governor wanted the cut to be double, As It is the SSP portion of My check was $233 a month, Now It will be $196 a month, The Governor(Govenator=Terminator) wanted the SSP at $155 which is a huge one time drop(and is the Federal SSP Minimum for California that CA must pay regardless by law or judgment(Not sure which)), I suspect this January in 2010 that the Federal COLA will not be passed through in whole or in part, All in an effort to balance the budget on the Backs of the Disabled and the Elderly, Not to mention any dependent Kitties and/or Doggies.

Well, your DSL problem was sort of solved anyway.

Sort of?

I'm back to using the Westell Wirespeed DSL modem and My Linksys BEFSR81 v2 router(router has no warranty and so no support), The Westell 6100F DSL modem would work fine by Itself, But would not work with the router in bridge mode, so the 6100F is trash as far as I'm concerned, But then the 6100F was Free, So why bother.

There might be, But I don't know what It is as I'm just wanting to use My 8 port router(2 PCs, plus room for expansion) and with the 6100F I can't, So I won't, One Verizon Tech said put the 6100F back in and He wouldn't do anything on the Wirespeed at all, But being that this is an ex-GTE area and as such DHCP rules here.

Who said the door was locked. Just closed.

Now might be a good time to replace the lock.

At this time of year, 1" of snow will be gone by noon...you don't have to bother shoveling...I haven't had to blow snow for about a month now...I think I can put it away, finally...

Don't put it away yet! That just upsets the snow gods, and then you are REALLY in trouble. I leave mine gassed and ready to go until at least early June.

My wife says that's because I'm a lazy slob, but I'm just being careful....

Oh yeah, and I win.

But have You seen a Cat being chased and then turning and standing Her Ground?

Angel did and boy did that Dog get It and then the stupid(but lovable, It's My Nephews) Dog came back for more, twice and each time Angel gave the Dog a good bloody nose and the Dog yelped.

So I win.
