Hey! Well I have a PC with the following specs: CPU type AuthenticAMD Recently, I have noticed that it is only running 2 scans, instead of the usual 4/5. For some reason it only seems to be receiving CUDA scans. Seti@home and Astropulse are both enabled. Help? |

If you aren't running a modified app. then you will only get Cuda WU's and when available Astropulse. However if you apply the modified app you can get multibeam and Astropulse running on your CPU's as well as Multibeam on your Cuda. there are several threads on the Numbers Crunching forums that can help you do just that. You can also run other projects on your CPU if you dont want to mess with modifying your app. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Thanks for your reply. I tried to modify the client before and messed up, i will just enable rosetta to run again. Hopefully, it will still get an astropulse like once a month. Since rosetta has no CUDA it seems that seti is getting all of that CPU time. |

hey kid, run your boinc benchmarks, and tell me how many cores it's showing in the messages tab. |

I now have CUDA disabled because my CPU's were idling. Can someone answer this question for me: will this problem be fixed in the next version of boinc client? and when is it due for release? Thanks |
