Now that was one on grandpas 45 jukebox in the basement. Whenever we kids were over, that song got played incessantly.

And then there was Cher - Gypsys Tramps & Thieves

All perfect material for 7-8 year olds back then. :-)

If memory seves me right the Cher song ou listed came out in 1972 :o)

Close. But you should have checked out the info on that YouTube Video I linked. :-)

We all owe Victoria a debt of gratitude, if for nothing else,

for giving the world the gift of her talented children who touched us all

< 'ere's an old copy of the same song by the Ramones . . .

and, in ending: Blitzkrieg Bop (Live) Studio Hamburg

Gotta love the Ramones. The best British punk band that ever came out of New York ;)

I saw the special display for the Ramones a few years ago at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, when they wre inducted. There was a great quote from the drummer, something like "A lot of people say we only play short songs. Thats not true. We play regular songs, just really fast."

This isn't as industrial as Dr Seti's friends music, but, perhaps contributary to science considering this song being played 257,000 miles off the coast of a G class yellow supergiant Aryan star generating ion's resonating positron's for 60 mile high flamenco dancers...

Gently, gently with the pipes says the gypsy...

[This sort of music can change life paths, and this book is a certainty, perhaps one of most influencial books, perhaps of last century and my favourite 'the alchemist' - Paulo Coelho {available at www.bookfinder.com}]
