Now I'm having trouble with My TV(Mitsubishi WD-57731 DLP), Neither of My 2 remotes will turn the TV on or off or raise or lower the sound any or even mute the TV. Of course both remotes(TV and Dish) work on the Dish box, Just not the TV, Of course the TV is not under any warranty(Week 25, Year 2006) of course, I can turn the TV on and off at the TV and raise and lower the volume from the TV itself, I even put fresh batteries in the TV remote. Sounds like the IR system in the TV is dead. And It's not like I can haul the TV anywhere as It's a 57" TV and It requires 2 people to lift or move It.

I suspect you've already tried, but power the set off at the mains and repower it after a couple of minutes in case something has locked up?

Just tried that and there's no change since I did that, I still have to go to the TV to power It on or off.
