There seems to be very little information to be found about retro viruses.I wonder how many different types there are and their effects on the host.A lot of questions need to be answered sooner or later .For example do some retroviruses become inactive in the host after a period of time and does this have a effect on the host if it does could it cause something like cancer.Does or can a host become physicaly dependent of certain retro viruses. If for example a person who had a fatal disease caused by a retrovirus, would introduction of a different retrovirus have any effect.Could a retrovirus be manipulated in a lab or altered or even perhaps cloned with certain attributes of the virus removed or added?
Perhaps our future depends on genetic manipulation.I think it does.

Genetic engineering is not a good topic for humans to purse its a science of doom especially when you bring in retrovirus which are virus that use RNA to infect cells and the make DNA .HIV is one of the retro virus which the say evolved from anther retrovirus in mokeys called symian virus due to its similarity to anther retro virus in humans HTLV-1 its also immunosupressive its believed that hiv actually was developed in the lab but escaped and since then no one has been able to stop it or get a vaccine because of the high number of permutation of its outer coat so you can see certain things are better left untouched no matter what certain people say.retrovirus are also known to cause cancer i will get you some links later as to how many they are it all depends on which host is of interest but they are many.so when you think of the devils gun think of retroviruses.

I really dont know a lot about retro viruses ,but theres more to the story than aids, monkeys and conspiracy theories.I did my research on a different subject. There seems to be some link between these retro viruses in regards to schizophrenia and autism. It seems that some horses carry a retrovirus that may be involved.Im sure there is quite the assortment in the many animals that populate the Earth and its Sea's.From what I understand sometimes if a host or person aquires a retrovirus,he/she may not get sick, but as propagation occurs the virus is passed down from generation to generation. It seems that not all people get sick but some aquire other attributes, such as being really good at math, art, music ect.

There currently is a lot of research going on in regards to a spiny dog fish shark. The spiny dog fish shark is quite hardy and as of other sharks has a remarkable immune system. However it may be,Im wondering what the long term results would be if a person was vaccinated with a serum made from Spiny Dog Fish Shark. Also there is the question of the guy who chooses to be a butcher by proffesion. The massive amount of blood and sharp knives would lead me to believe, that a butchers children would have a unique strain of DNA.Of course thats all specualtion I have never seen or read a report on the percentage of aflictions or blessings that occur to children of butchers. What I ment by research,is that genetic manipulation has been going on since the begining of time.Perhaps a misforunate event of exposure to several events could be the cause of certain plauges or attributes.Such as Steves Grandfather was vaccinated with SpinyDog Fish serum before Steve was born..Then Steve was bitten by a horse.Or it could be That Steves Grandfather was a fisherman, and Steve grew up to be a butcher.Could a combination that led to aquireing two incompatiable retro viruses lead to misfortune,or perhaps the other way around would create a prodigy.

perhaps if we had a virologist who is doing research may be he would tell us more about them. And its true retroviruses are used in various genetic projects due to the fact that its easy to modify a strand of rna which will later in the cell form dna which binds to the host dna thus modifing it and like all viruses some hosts will not show symptoms of the disease and become carriers modern science can do amazing things and that the are responsible for various conditions in humans and other animals due to fact that they modify they hosts dna what percentage of the modifications are beneficial and for how long that i also cant tell.

How is it that 2 different people are typing in exactly the same way.

please put at least 1 " " space after each and every "." . without the space it looks like you are writing one long runon sentence. Please check out retroviruses at Wikipedia.

I do know that there is some research into using retroviruses to introduce proteins into human cells. Researchers for Muscular dystrophy have been trying to do this for several years. However the technology to introduce the proteins into specific chromosomal regions is still not there. the duchennes dystrophy protein is well known. Some day researchers will certainly be able to solve the riddle of DNA/RNA insertion into the chromosomes and the mitochodria.
