Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
SETI@HOME IS GREAT I FIRST TRIED IT WAY BACK IN 2005 BUT STOPPED COZ I MOVED TO A PLACE WITH NO INTERNET CONNECTION BUT I REJOINED THE GREAT PROJECT THIS YEAR 2008 I THINK IAM ADDICTED TO THE PROJECT ITS REALLY A GREAT PROJECT IN EXPLORATION OF THE UNKNOWN I PERSONALY THINK HUMANITY IS NOT DOING ENOUGH TO SEARCH FOR ET WHO KNOWS WHAT GOOD OR BAD THESE ETS CAN CAUSE I WOULD RATHER SPY ON THEM BEFORE THEY DO SPY ON OUR WORLD. WELL I KNOW MAY BE ITS WAY OUT OF LINE ,BUT ALL THE SAME I WILL KEEP MY MACHINE WARM SEARCHING FOR THESE ETS ,BY THE WAY I AM DOING IT TOGETHER WITH A ONE AND HALF YEAR OLD AND HES BECOMING AN EXPERT.
MY SUGGESTIONS ABOUT THE PROJECT.
1) IT SHOULD INCLUDE GOVERNMENTS SO THAT ITS A PROJECT FOR HUMANITY AS A WHOLE COZ ALL CAN BENEFIT FROM IT.
2)WE NEED MORE LISTENING POSTS IN SPACE WERE WE CAN SCAN 360 DEGREES BOTH WAYS
FAR FROM INTERFERENCE.
I would also kindly ask every scientist not to just dismiss unexplained phenomena in our world, take for example the Ufo phenomena before any one dismisses it as untrue ,think what if it is true and you just don't understand it. Try every explanation you can find and see if it can fit ,after all science is about understanding new things and just because you try to percieve it in one dimension and not in other dimensions that you can't see doesn't mean it can't happen .But when you say it can't happen ,it means you have given up reasoning and made it a crime in the eyes of others to try to reason the unexplained thus killing the whole purpose of science as we know it. |
