Besides......I luv nixie tubes.....LOL.

I know I am waaaayyy behind you guys, but I have a nixie clock in my living room, still working great and still keeping accurate time. I have a spare set of Nixie tubes in the loft too, but not needed them yet.

LOL........I started searching for a spare set of nixies when I first bought the clock......but it has a power down setting.....and they have not failed yet.....

Of course, having said that, one of them will go dark in the morning.......LOL..

Less than 19 minutes and It will be Friday in the Hawaiian-Aleutian time zone.

Winning while watching my core temps on my lappie while running SETI, been going roughly 7 hours straight now...

Averaging 72-75C then a huge spike just sent it flying up to 78 and then dropping again, should I leave it all night, or is it too risky?

CPU is a T9300...

That seems a little high, but so am I........

Anyway...I have not run any lappies, but they have always had inadequate cooling......made for speed, not comfort......

Average from Speedfan is now reporting 66-70C which is far better than before... I've got it elevated above the table for adequate air to the fan which is good. It's just a bit noisy!
