Kayproll portable computer with 9'' display

Better screen than on a portable Osborne computer.

My grandpa used to love to build electronic kit stuff from Heathkit.

I don’t think that he ever built a computer (he had no interest in them) but I got curious if they ever had any. Yup.

The H89 Computer on a beach:

High Tech styling:

Inside:

Technical Stuff
Released 1979 (the year after I was released)
CPU: Zilog Z80 @ 2.0 Mgz
RAM: 16k but expandable to a rockin’ 48K
Display: 12” mono CRT, 80 X 24 text only
Storage: 102 k built in cassette
OS” ‘monitor’, HDOS (Heath Disk Operating System)

All for a mere $1595.00 - approx the same price as 3 cruncher quads today. :P

I wonder how many of those ancient antiques are left?

Oh and It's MHz Mac, I had a 6502C powered Atari 400 that did 1.79MHz in Color of course. And yep I had It modded way before Modding was popular.
