They had those in Green Bay for a while. Some of them are still around, but they are switching back to traditional red...

Speaking of which, how was the beer tasting event last night?

Goose Island Brewery-based out of Chicago. Their speaker brought

1/2 barrel of their Honkers Ale
1/2 barrel of their IPA
1/6 barrel of their 312 (unfiltered wheat)
1/6 barrel of their special reserve Matilda (A belgiun)
(3) 12 packs of their Brown Ale
(3) 12 packs of their seasonal Harvest Ale

I liked the Matilda best, but it ran out first. (There were less than 100 people in attendance and the 6'ers and 12 packs all went but we only made it most of the way through the (2) 1/2 barrels.:-)

But the guys did come prepared. They brought empty Corny Kegs and the gear to empty the 1/2 Barrels into their Corny kegs. So no beer was sent back to Illinois and it will be enjoyed at least until the weekend. :-)

If a large enough quantity of beer is brought for few enough people, those people will not be able to drink all of the beer in one sitting.
