Why would they? PS3s aren't cheap, even used ones aren't. Besides It's a fair computer already, Just the programming for It is different. :D

My PS3 is a PC already, it runs Linux and I can surf the 'net using Firefox on it, I run Boinc on it, and I can connect to my other PCs from it. What else does it have to do to qualify as a PC?

It's already got more ram than some older systems here, and it does 1080P right now!

And It won't be or shouldn't be overclocked, can't I suspect. But then I don't have a need for one either.
