hello, Hi Calimero I've had this when upgrading several machines. You haven't lost your credits, they are credited to your account. Check your old host - when the wu's have been deleted fom the server, it should show under "your computers" on your account page - Merge computers/Delete computer. Just delete it. You won't lose any credits. |

thx for your fast answer. :-) I will wait for a month checking my computers again and if possible I will try to merge the older one again. |

thx for your fast answer. :-) Merging them won't work as you've changed the operating system. Just delete it. You haven't lost any credits, they will always be credited to your account total. |

thx for your fast answer. :-) Hi, have had the same 'trouble' , when changing to LINUX for a while and wanted it to crunch also. Now I've 2 X9650 Hosts, indeed noway off merging them, cause off the change in OS. When I'm sure I don't use it, think NOT BTW, then I'll delete it. |

thx for your fast answer. :-) A change from one Windows flavor to another doesn't count as an OS change (like it would from Windows to Linux, etc). He should be able to merge them eventually. [edit]The only thing stopping him in a case like above is if the computer NAME has changed. In that case, they cannot be merged.[/edit] |

Hi I have only ever ran the 1 computer and don't want to lose any Stats ! Seti shows I have 3 Computers 2 active I tried to Merge /Delete (2) but can only SEE a Merge option How can I DELETE 2 of these Computers (name chenge after REinstalled XP /HDD crash) also I've seen seti members with Huge stats and seemingly only 1 PC ,guess a Farm has been merged to look like 1 Computer. of course it's not just the Stats that count Participating, contributing and of course the chance of Crunching THAT pulse !!!! |

Hi You can only delete a host if that host does not have any outstanding workunits waiting for a quorum partner to return their result, and the result has to be validated and marked in the Master Science Database. This can take months for some workunits depending on how many errors it has or how many times a quorum partner decided to give up and the WU has to time out before it gets sent to someone else. |
