What's the deal... nothing but "no schedulers responded" but the status page says everything is up... which is it? Can someone please make sure the SETI admin team is aware of this discrepancy? |

Trust me, I'm a network admin, and we use WebTrends to monitor our critical servers. Something like that should check no LESS than once every 15 minutes or so. There are a lot of commercial (and I'm sure some free) products that'll do that for 'em, but they've got to have something that shows nearly real-time status. I checked that status page several times over the course of a day and NEVER ONCE did it say that the schedulers were down, when they obviously were! |

We're in the middle of a major problem with BOINC right now, if you hadn't noticed. I think they're more concerned with smoothing things out that a goofy little status page. Besides, if you already know what the status is, why are you bitching about the status page being wrong? ------------------------------------ The game High/Low is played by tossing two nuclear warheads into the air. The one whose bomb explodes higher wins. This game is usually played by people of low intelligence, hence the name High/Low. |
