Northern Exposure LOL :-) And here I just figured Wings/Northern Exposure were a bit more mature material than the OP was after. :-) |

I will plead the fact that TV didn't start in Oz until 1956, Some of the shows were nearly 10 years old before they went to air here (my story and I'm sticking to it <grin>) How about, Rin Tin Tin, Circus Boy, The Lawman, The Rifleman, Laramie and The Adventures of Wyatt Earp ? Ahh memories, memories Brodo |

"Perry Mason" and E.G. Marshall in "The Defenders", two shows about smart lawyers who saived people, and inspired me to become one. Not many people know it, but "Perry Mason" is based on a real person: American trial great Earl Rodgers. He's the one who defended Clarence Darrow on his perjury charge among other things. Rodgers defended 93 First Degree Murder trials...all successfully! Wow! His niece, Adela St. John, wrote a good book about her uncle's life in court. I'm sorry, but I don't remember it; just google it. :]] So yeah! TV can affect your life! |
