Hello, Dear Friends!!! :]]

Thanks very much for the bumps!

It's been awful weather ever since New Year's eve! We've been in an extended Arctic cold snap. By that I mean, subzero temperatures have been mostly around -17 Celsius (-27 with the wind chill) and yesterday it was -23!!! We've also had several snow storms and two ice storms.

Why do they call it "Global Warming" anyways...shouldn't it be "Global Colding"? LOL

Tippi, the Cat from Hell, has been very cranky about being kept indoors. She's obviously suffering from cabin fever. She gets on these long meowing jags that tempt me to throw her out into the cold (of course, I'd never do that). I understand those poor mothers who get arrested for shaking their children. LOL

I've been watching a number of good movies. Two of them that I'd reccomend are "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Defiance". I'm also being amused by some old television series. Let's face it, apart from "Entourage" there hasn't been very much entertaining new series. The pilot of the new Canadian series "Wild Roses" may be fun for those of you who liked "Texas" with J.R. (jeez! that one dates me - lol)
