I did a client detach http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=3001110 yesterday to free a few ghost WU's from my account.

When I reinstalled the optimized app, I seem to have installed an old one as I am now over claiming credit.

Most recently used app. is here:

Optimized SETI@Home Enhanced application
Optimizers: Ben Herndon, Josef Segur, Alex Kan, Simon Zadra
Version: Windows SSE-P3/Athlon XP 32-bit based on S@H V5.15 'Noo? No - Ni!'
Revision: 2.2B|xK+GFX|FFT:IPP_SSE|Ben-Joe
CPUID: AMD Athlon XP 'Thoroughbred'
CPUs: 1, cores: 1, threads: 1 cache: L1=64K, L2=256K, L3=0K
Features: MMX, 3DNow!, 3DNow!+, SSE,
speed: 1799 MHz -- read MB/s: L1=9836, L2=4195, RAM=577

Previous app. can be seen in a pending task:

Optimized SETI@Home Enhanced application
Optimizers: Ben Herndon, Josef Segur, Alex Kan, Simon Zadra
Version: Windows SSE 32-bit based on S@H V5.15 'Noo? No - Ni!'
Revision: R-2.4V|xK|FFT:FFTW3_SSE|Ben-Joe
CPUID: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2200+
Speed: 1 x 1799 MHz
Cache: L1=64K L2=256K
Features: MMX SSE

Work Unit Info
WU Credit multi. is: 2.85

Can I easily switch from one optimized app to the other ?

[EDIT]
What is the most recent best optimized app for my CPU ?

Thanks, Keith.

After you checked, what your CPU is capable off, you can take a look here
OPTIMIZED App.'s

You have to take the latest opti app., AK_V8_windows_SS(S)E 2/3/4.1, depending on what your CPU can handle.
Most off the 'older' AMD CPU's, only can handle SSE2, sometimes SSE3, so check this!, here is a link to CPUz:

Lookout!, there is no SSE release of AKv8 for AMD thoroughbred at this time. Please use 2.4V, which you can switch to by following the ordinary 2.4V installation instructions provided in the download.

Thanks, Jason Gee, for your remark on SSE & AMD CPU's.

There is the 'normal' 2.4V SSE app.. for Intel and AMD.

But I found information at this board also for a special SSE app only for AMD:
2.4V_Windows_x32_SSE_FFTW (direct download from Crunch3rs side)
It will give a little bit speed up in comparison to the 'normal' SSE app.

But, why is this app not 'officially' on Crunch3rs side for download?

BTW. When is the AK V8 SSE app available? :-D

Might be a p3-only release soon, with some small improvement. AMD builds are proving troublesome, and Crunch3r's FFTW 2.4V version will probably remain the best choice for many of those. It seems we reached the crossover point between AKv8 & 2.4V at SSE level. So don't expect the huge gains that have been accomplished in the past, and don't expect every machine to agree on which is best.

So when is the SSSSSSSSSEEE9.5 app coming out, with the
'Download work when I want it'
'Multiply my RAC by 2'
'Don't tell me there is no work on the server'
And most importantly....
'Find me that SOB Khan'
features............?
