Moon.......would you Come Away With Me....?

You pick the time and place.................I'll be there.

Listen to this.........

Come away with me in the night
Come away with me
And I will write you a song

Come away with me on a bus
Come away where they can't tempt us
With their lies

I want to walk with you
On a cloudy day
In fields where the yellow grass grows knee-high
So won't you try to come

Come away with me and we'll kiss
On a mountaintop
Come away with me
And I'll never stop loving you

And I want to wake up with the rain
Falling on a tin roof
While I'm safe there in your arms
So all I ask is for you
To come away with me in the night
Come away with me

Hei again Mark ;-)

mmhh.. do you expect an answer? pP

yes, its a lovely long..and I do have
the album ;-)

You may answer after you have time to ponder.....no hurry, my love.

I'll be here with the kitties.

yellow grass.. What might have come out of that is not to know..lol

As long as im not winning the lottery, not you nor anyone else over there
is ever going to see me i suppose.. How sad is that? ;-)

Enjoy the song.. its nice.

Those of you who are of my age, and want a hoot........here is one.....Ummm.........30's????
This was before my time........blackface was a vaudeville thingy then....and was quite socially acceptable....

If you want some more entertainment, just go on google and search 'Eddie Cantor"......he was highly underrated............If you knew Susie........that was such a suggestive song for it's time.........

I gotta go to bed now...............

Most of you young pups are too young in life to understand what came before you.....or care. You should really learn to listen to the things that came before your time.......my elders taught me that........

All that you hear now evolved from what I heard 30=40=50 years ago.........

I always take the long way home.........don;t I?......Norah Jones

We scared souls alway seek shelter in the storms........

Can't hold on very long..........forgive me pretty baby, but I always take the long way home.........

Lord knows you and I babe, always take the long way home.

"Come with me......together we'll take the long way "home..............

Together the truth we shall find......

End of line.............................................

.

. . . Buffalo Springfield < For What It's Worth ><---- Smothers Brothers Show

. . . again: Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth (Monterey 1967)

Stephen Stills, Richie Furay (in the suit, playing the 12 string), Bruce Palmer (bass), Dewey Martin (drums)

and David Crosby the master of harmonies on the 3rd guitar, just filling in for this show.

Other members of the band included the brilliant bassist Jim Fielder and of course Neil Young.

David and the Springfield knew each other from playing on numerous bills around LA at that time
