Strange seeing as it's the same brewery as your Weiss... :-)

No. Hereabouts Michelob is still considered an also-ran for beer. Their "craft" brews didn't really change the opinions too much. Although I wouldn't be surprised that they warrant tasting. Their original offerings though were very poor examples of the type of brew they were supposedly representing, so not many I know, including myself, have given their subsequent tries a chance.
