naja kann mann aber nichts machen es ist ja nur bei seti mit dem jpg image

also bei climateprediction hab ich lauter *.Png Files wenn die bei seti auch geben würde würde es gehen weil die bei climateprediction ohne probleme durch laufen

at the climateprediction project they have a lot of png images they download without any problem maybe to fix the problem for the future change the jpg File to an png image

Okay, Leute, ich tipp mal auf deutsch weiter... :-)

Was ich vorschlagen würde, ist Seti auf "Keine neuen Aufgaben" zu setzen, ggf. den steckengebliebenen Download im BOINC Manager (Tansfer-Tab... weiss nicht, wie's dieses Tab auf deutsch heisst, habe engl. eingestellt) abzubrechen, BOINC komplett zu beenden (File -> Exit) und danach dieses Zip-File von Josef W. Segur's Homepage runterzuladen. Dann aus diesem Zip das Seti-JPEG extrahieren und in den entsprechenden BOINC\\projects\\Setiathome.berkeley.edu-Ordner zu kopieren. Danach BOINC wieder starten und gucken, was passiert (Meldungen-Tab). Bitte packt erstmal nur das JPEG aus und nicht auch die restlichen Dateien, weiss nicht, ob die noch aktuell sind... :-0

Probiert das mal...

Jakob das Hab ich schon versucht die Jpg datei per hand downzuloaden
das hat boinc nicht intressiert und trotzdem die datei herunterladen zumindest hat boinc es versucht und erzeugt den fehler (steht aber auch in diesem Thread drinne)

My system is using optimized apps allready and I show 4 different *.png files all used in the simple view of Boinc. Perhaps there will still be a problem??

das log von oben zeigt ja das png dateien problemos durchlaufen ichd enke inzische auch währe die jpg datei nicht dabei

well it worked before so i will download now the stuff with my landline dialup even if it takes the hole day

ok ich bin wohl ein totaler noob user...

ich habe nun die optimierte sache runtergeladen und step by step alles nachgebastelt... nur das doofe ist ich hab im task manager den prozess garnicht drin und in services(ich denke das sollte computerverwaltung auf deutsch heissen) finde ich ich boinc garnicht...

bin zu dumm für diese welt...

werde wohl auf seti verzichten müssen... nun ja ist eh nur ein firmenrechner den ich in 14 tagen abgeben muss...

und wieso zeigt das nicht meine signatur als bild an? oh mann sorry ich mach das zum ersten mal hier...

Ich hab keine Ahnung von der optimierten Applikation, aber wenn ich das richtig sehe, hast Du standard-BOINC mit der optimierten SETI-Applikation. Bei BOINC gibt es 3 Arten zu installieren: single user, shared und service. Nur bei der Service Installation findest Du BOINC in Computerverwaltung / Dienste und Anwendungen. Sonst musst Du den BOINC Manager laufen lassen damit "gecruncht" wird. Dann findest Du setiathome_5.27_windows_intelx86.exe auch im Task-Manager.

ejdoch lief es im hintergrund und nur mein andres projekt (malaria dingens...) wurde angezeigt aber nicht seti liegt es evtl daran dass er ja nicht arbeiten kann an dem projekt weil die datei nicht runtergeladen ist und er nicht arbeiten(crunchen?) kann?

Dein Rechner mit den vielen Downloaderrors hat zur Zeit einen SETI Job geladen. Da er 2 CPUs hat, sollte eigentlich je ein Malaria- und ein SETI Job laufen. Im Projekte Tab (Advanced View) müssten beide Projekte aufgelistet sein und im Aufgaben Tab alle runtergeladenen und noch nicht "reporteten" Jobs. Zwei von denen sollten den Status Aktiv haben und im Task-Manager auftauchen. (Hab extra meinen BOINC Manager auf Deutsch umgestellt :-)

ja stimmt soweit ich habe gerade einstein und malaria laufen wenn ich jedoch alles andere anhalte und nur noch einstein und seti laufen lasse tauchen im prozess zweimal einstein auf und keinmal seti... weder das originale noch das ak dingens...

Klar, gibt ja auch immer noch Downloaderror. Findest Du im setiathome ordner die Datei app_info.xml? Die sollte eigentlich (so wie ich das verstanden habe) den Download der jpg files verhindern. Sonst fällt mir auch nichts mehr ein.
