WEll Earlier this week I would have felt fortunate to see a BLUE screen I was just getting black General Protection Fault errors with codes microsoft said my MOTHERBOARD was bad (LOL!!!)or a hal.dll corrupt or various other messages or none at all just an infinite boot screen then reboot loop.... I FINALLY GOT MY PHENOM BACK OPERATIONAL TODAY!!!!! YEAAAAHHHHH!!!!! bad motherboard and all.... what a pain though to get it there, pulled a floppy drive out of old comp, "borrowed" a couple of critical files off another computer (including a boot.ini which was a slight mistake it only had one core made my quad a gimp for awhile running slow on only one cylinder) then used an XP Pro CD to boot, copy files from floppy onto HD reinstalled windows sp2 sp3 then IE7 and WOW what a busy, busy, busy, day but WORKING!!!!
