hmmmm.... Very strange. I just checked mine and it is doing it as well so this is apparently not an isolated incident.

Earlier, at approximately 1500 UTC, 23 April, 'My Computers' page revealed no information. SETI Beta is, as of this writing, also reporting nothing.

Definitely a little out of alignment, but I can't help but like how it makes my poor old Celeron look...

Looks like it's been changed now...
Probably implemented the headers before the actual line-filling code.

But now I can only see the CPU manufacturer, so all mine look the same, from the Celeron 400 to the dual Xeon and the Q9300.

This is true, maybe still a progress in work?

Lets hope that it is still work in progress, before it was one click on an easily identifiable number to get to the tasks for a computer.
Now it is select computer and then hunt for correct line to click on number to get to the tasks for a computer.

For me and probably the majority of users the location is known or not important. And is only of interest if you use the web pages to change the preferences for that location.

I'd have to agree with that.

It really perturbs me that they've taken away the link to tasks by computer. Now I have to select each computer; scroll down to the link for its tasks and then click it. Three steps now where I could do a single click before.

So we can thank OzzFan for this. But his request did not ask for the work in progress column to be removed from the page.

This sucks! I want the old thing back! Making an extra click is a pain in the butt.

But now I just asked the opposite :)

Interesting use of "requested".

That trac ticket was opened, and closed, two months ago. It requested "grouping" by venue.

It most certainly did not request the supression of CPU details other than manufacturer, or the direct link to a host's tasks.

Hold on while I follow the trail to OzzFan's source...

... it leads to OzzFan himself.

As Les Bayliss says at BOINC,
"Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it."
And it almost always turns out differently to what you thought you'd wished for.

I think I agree that the new script is not as informative nor as flexible as the old version.

I would like to see thr old format back, please!
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

I'd already added that as a comment and cc to [trac]#569[/trac]:
... took away $host->p_model information (useful), at the expense of $host->p_vendor (not so useful): also took away $host->os_version and $ltr. Overall, I think the 'took away' was more significant than the 'added'.

So is this what the people at Seti are wasting their time on? Great...
