Hi Fuzzy!!!

Thanks for all of your condolences, including the one for Steadfast!!! Life includes loss, I'm learning to accept that. :]]

That was nice of you, to remember that iris I posted for you. I think those purple Hyacinths look lovely. What a nice thought for your Mom! :]]

Thank you too, for this nice pic of the Hyacinths and Fresias; I'll save a copy of it.

GOD BLESS!!!

Beets

You're welcome. You still have your little kitty, how is she doing?

It's not only my mother who's ashes are there, my father's ashes are there, at the same spot also, the same little lot. His ashes was put down there back in 1996 and my mother's in 2006. So they are both there, in spirit so to speak. I used to go and have a "talk" with my dad before my mother died. My sister's ashes are in a cemetery in the other part of the country, so I have only been there once, laying down a bunch of roses. So in my thoughts I can visit the spot because I know how the place looks like.

Yes, the bunch was lovely and so sweet smelling. :-)

Umm, I try not to be impatient with Tippie, but she's a trial alright! LOL

She constantly demands attention, gets bored and likes to make a mess and destroy things, jumps down onto my shoulders from a high window ledge when I'm eating supper, wakes me up at ungodly hours when I'm sleeping, meows constantly in horniness for weeks at a time. LOL

Really, male cats are much easier to live with.

But we're slowly but surely adapting to eachother. :]]

I'm still lighting votive candles for Dad, because he loved doing that for my dear mother; I figure he deserves the same. I keep them going constantly for him and say the traditional prayer for the dead for him once a day. It's been just over a month since he died, I just realized. My, but the time goes fast!!!

I'm not sure how long I'll keep it up; for as long as I feel like doing it, I guess. :]]

Thanks, Richard!!!

It's a clever work, fashioned by skilled hands to be sure. Do I like it, aesthetically? Half-and-Half to be honest. I really like the green leaves at the bottom. :]] But the stem and the flowers themselves have a 'shrivelled' feel to me. The shadow on the back panels is interesting troughout. So what I mean is, that I really and truly like the bottom half of your pic.

Thanks for sending this, Richard. :]]

. . . just the 'Nature' of the Photograph Beets - but the Flower (upper) is actually very vibrant - when seen in it's Original Form - Thanks btw ;)

Joke:

What sound does a grape make when an elephant steps on it?

None. It just lets out a little wine

How do you know when an elephant has been in your fridge?

Footprints in the butter.

Why do elephants paint their feet yellow?

So they can float upside down in a bowl of custard without being seen.

Just a brief respite from the way things are around here....... :-)

. . . good one Chris - here's another for that exact reason ;)

Q: Did you hear about the redneck who passed away and left his entire estate in trust for his beloved widow?

A: She can't touch it till she's fourteen.

The red neck, the sportsman, or the beloved...

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.

An earlier discussion had led to an argument and

Neither of them wanted to concede their position.

As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs,

The husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"

"Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."

The Chinese year of the Pig, the Chinese year of Goat, the Chinese year of the Horse combined with , Earth, Wind, Fire, Metal and Wood concentrate defining charachters. Its very interesting. I developed a, particular method of research using biorythyms which determines cosmic procession mathematics using element calculations implementing particular peak activity performance opportunities. When I thought about the number of Chinese people who have such basic knowledge of themselves I realised that China is perhaps two/three thousand years ahead of the western world.

Hi Guys!!!

Your posts really gave me a lift and some laughs this morning. Thanks Chris and Richard..and all of you that posted some jokes here. :]]

I have to run off soon to do some important bill paying "Pay or Else". EEK!

Before I go though, I wanted to mention a real new style of crossword puzzle. It's very hip, very Californian, very 'with it'..there's nothing 'Fuddy-Duddy' about this.

It's called Jonesin'

This weekend was amazing here....

Saturday was in the 80's and Sunday the 70's.

Was able to sit in my parent's hottub to further loosen up my neck and cleared the front & back yards of all the sticks and raked.
