Whats the deal with this? Ive set the preferences to suspend while PC is in use, but it never does. Ive read the thread about the Home/School/Work bug, and its fine, it does remain "Yes", and yes, the pc is showing the correct preferences.. (Ive even tried the boinc client side override preferences) and yet it still doesnt work.

Does this feature actually work, and if so, how can I get it to work?

Btw, yes, my preferences are set to "Run based on preferences".

Cheers,

EDIT: Its on Vista btw. Works fine on XP, but both of my Vista rigs the setting does squat.

I too have this exact same problem.

I've attempted to set the preferences via web as well as using the BOINC manager to no avail.

Is there any word on this...anyone?

A lot of what BOINC won't do in Vista versus what it will do in older Windows versions, is Vista's doing. The present BOINC versions aren't quite compliant with Vista, while the next version, BOINC 6 will (hopefully) be so.

BOINC 6 is in alpha testing, no word on it when it'll be released to the public. (I'm not going to guess either)
