Thanks Mark for the Pics, please keep them coming. I have been in Wisconson once, but I fell in love with your state.

Here she is hanging out over the monitor in the early days........

> ps Mark - used to go to MSOE (Milwaukee) - loved iT @ 3am - when the freezes dropped and everything was 'the crystal world' - the light mistin' & rains would be short bursts and then the freeze . . . wish i'd gotten pics back then (1968) . . . it was very beautiful, to say the least ;)

. . . btw, beautiful kitties Sir!

note: Charcoal's still amiss . . . i 'wait' sigh . . .

'The Magic Touch' (Platter's) 1956 - luv that one Sir! - Thank You btw

i sent a PM to uli - i'll post it here . . .

eh uli, Thanks for the Concern - iT is so much appreciated . . .

i just posted in Mark's Thread

btw - he's a he - Charcoal - though he really seems - at least he has seemed to be more like a female - practically identical to mi other kittie - Flavors - who passed away 10 years ago in San Francisco - she was such a darling - with her little white boots on four paws - just like Charcoal . . . edit Charcoal has 'is little white spot on 'is chest . . . NOT the paws

in fact - the day Charcoal was born - i asked - with Joanne - what the little was sayin' to mi - he was on the couch - about 4 inches long - 'micro' and gave mi this particular look - and i instantly thought of Flavors - and even said - Flavors - You want to stay here? he looked so strangely @ mi - i'd swear it was Flavors - and when i said yes, You can stay with us - he looked strangely again - at Joanne - then mi - and the look was so bloody adorable - i then said - Your name is Charcoal - he meowed real quiet like - and i said ok - Charcoal i shall be . . . and he climbed so slowly over the edge of the couch to mi - and gave mi that special look again - and fell asleep with a little grin on 'is face . . . and so it went

he always been the most gentle of all kitties - and i mean gentle - with the most politeness and attitude i find quite rare . . . i miss 'im - but - IF he's happy somewhere else - it shall be eh . . . sigh . . .

With Respect,

Your Friend, richard

added note: when 'e was still younger - he used to sleep on the couch - about 2 - 3 inches from mi face - and just look @ mi with 'is 'chuncky face' - smilin' - and whenever i woke up - 'e'd be right there - still smilin'

another sigh! . . .

My 2, Lucky & Bluey

Great shot. And such beautiful kitties!! Thanx for sharing.

I went to visit the standby kitties again at the local shelter Saturday. Very uplifting, as they group that was in the adoption cages had changed quite a bit from just a few weeks ago when I was there last. The GF seems to have taken a shine to a beautiful 4yo long haired black fella. If he is still there in a few more weeks, she may not be able to resist taking him home.
They also had an adorable pair of cream colored tabby male kittens a few months old.....geez, if I didn't have 4 already......
And another 'I'm adopted' sign went up on one of the cages just as we were leaving! It was a good kitty day.

I really wish I could take another to keep my kitty company... But with my health, it wouldn't be a good idea. I worry too much about what'll happen to my little one if something happens to me as it is.

Such a shame, too, I know my girl would love to have the company. I'm sure she's all well and good with the human companionship I give, but I'm quite certain another cat would make things that much better for her. :)

Most, but not all cats like another one around for company. I usually recommend at least 2. But if your health does not allow that, that's understandable. I'm sure you give much attention to the one you have.

I have an agreement with my GF that should anything happen to me, she will absolutely see to it that my kitties are taken care of, and found a new home if necessary. And I have promised her the same for hers.
