Getting that on a machine just added a couple of days ago. Finally got 2 units to start d/l but second one stopped with a server may be down error before it could finish. |

You might have just hit the system during the weekly outage. I have gotten several new work units and just checked the server status page. There are 58,000 plus work units ready to be sent out. So try again now. |

Looking at Scarecrow's graphs, it would appear that the Ready to Send work had been declining for 24hours before the usual Tuesday outage occured. At the time the outage occured, there were only 140,000 results ready to send even though the buffer is set for 200,000. Hopefully the restart after the outage resolved whatever caused that drop in Work Unit production. Grant Darwin NT |

Doesn't look like it, I am getting 'no work from project' messages and server status now shows 18 available. The kitties are getting hungry again....... "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Just looked at the graphs again, and there's still no buffer of work ready to send. But there's plenty of network traffic & i just got a couple of Work Units after several attempts, so it looks like the splitters are keeping up with demand, but not able to outpace it to build up a buffer. The behavior is a little different this time for me. I'm used to seeing the no work from project msg; but this time I'm seeing the request, the normal project waits 11 seconds, and then nothing. I'm down to 12 minutes worth of work on 1 machine. Oh well, I guess my back-up projects will like it. Boinc Button Abuser In Training >My Shrubbers< |

I aborted the download, and everything came back up fine. Life is good! Boinc Button Abuser In Training >My Shrubbers< |

Hi - same thing this AM (wed.) on ol' crunchy the clone here. All I did was stop it, close it, and re-start, got a new WU upon re-starting. Dunno if it was a fluke or not, but it seemed to work :) like take off eh! to The Great White North |

Looks like the splitters are starting to gain a little ground, current status now shows 2,579 ready to send. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
