I'm posting this both here, and in the science section - I'll be interested in the differing responses! well, my entire question is stated in the title-line ... do we know of any confirmed planets in the Messier 84 galaxy? There doesn't appear to be too much information available! I realize there's an insanely massive black hole in the galaxy nucleus, so maybe that's sucked up all the planets!! thanks guys!! that would have worked if you hadn't stopped me |

I'm posting this both here, and in the science section - I'll be interested in the differing responses! I think it's hard enough to detect planets in our own galaxy. |

None so far, and probably will take a long time before there will be any due to technical limitations. |

I'm posting this both here, and in the science section - I'll be interested in the differing responses! 60,000,000lyr's and you expect to be able to detect planets?WT? we can only deduce the existance of Super Jupterian type planets at the moment but give it ten or twentey years and the astronomers might be able to "see" something smaller. Old enough to know better(but)still young enough not to care |
