Download problem

I recently edited my preferences and inserted a URL of a site of a photograph taken by my son ... so I could include it as a background picture. Apparently the BOINC program is unable to download the picture ..... and this stops all downloads of data.

I have gone back in and amended my preferences to 'None' for URL of background picture. However I still get the same downlaod message as follows:

--- - 2004-09-08 17:47:34 - Giving up on download of background_1094010233: File downloaded was not the correct file or was garbage from bad URL.

I updated to Boinc 4.05 but this message as follows says I am using 4.03.

SETI@home - 2004-09-08 17:47:26 - Resuming computation for result 05my04aa.9306.9952.284650.17_1 using setiathome version 4.03

I am effectively cut off from the project.

What can I do?

(I think the BOINC version of seti@home 'sucks'. - As well as the above, it seems to be offline more than it is on-line.)
