Any links or data from anyone else or has the hissing section grown far to large for practical conversation ¿.

MrGray, I check some of these video posts. I simply haven't got the time to look at all of them. It would be wonderful to find one that is quite convincing. I just think none of them have convinced me yet. And the guy from Mexico that used to be their equivalent of Dan Rather seems to have simply become some New Age guru. What's up with the music they add to their presentations, for example?!? Just show the videos, if they are convincing. No need for music added, as if it helps us reach a higher consciousness.

No problem Sarge,

I was referring to the guy(s), who always has(have), something negative to say.

:P

OK OK OK...

Roll up, roll up roll up... Get yer Aliens here... Real good video... And all very scientific with reliable witnesses and what's more... It's actually been published in a semi-credible journal!

I didn't believe it myself! ... To begin with...!

See:

Aliens attacking Earth with high energy plasma rays
Aliens attacking Earth with high energy plasma rays - The Movie

This was captured by Hans Stenbaek-Nielsen, of the University of Alaska at Fairbanks in the US whilst stationed in New Mexico in July 2005. They start far above the clouds in the mesosphere – about 75 kilometres up – and can be 50 kilometres tall.

What ya think eh?

1: It's for real!
2: It's in focus and calibrated!!
3: It's published work by respected scientists!!!
4: It's exactly what some airline pilots have seen on occasions for years but has so far never been captured!!!!
5: WOW!!!!!

Yes?

Cheers,
Martin

Have an article to go with your vid ML1?

Comments on the tether photos I made for ya?

I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I only share what I find so we can discuss the topic. Our SETI community has some great minds. Some of us are younger and less experienced than others but are still looking around with eyes wide open and minds unhindered by majority pressures. Hell, some of us may not have the first clue about things discussed here. Point is too share and learn so we all move along a bit faster in our studies. No pressure from me. I just enjoy the topic and sharing what I've found with others. Some vids truly suck, but there are so many it's hard to chalk up to anything but real.

Since the Sumerians made their Cuneiform clay tablets and spoke of the number of planets in our solar system, the creation of Earth by the destruction of another planet colliding with us and creating the Moon, and the genetic Creation and use of Man, (4000 bc.), up 'til today. There may be something deeper here clouded by time. The peoples of India wrote of wars in the sky between two alien factions fighting over who controlled the Earth. The Bible, Torah, Koran, ENUMA ELISH, TALMUD, The Upanishad, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, The Mahabharata, Popol Vuh, and Book of the Dead, all speak of creators or teachers who came down from the sky and helped Man.

A few months ago scholars thought the city of Troy was just a myth.

Truth be told - I believe even without evidence. But the evidence doesn't hurt. The farther back I go, the closer to the truth I get. It seems to be like the game we all played when we were young, where a group of people sat in a circle and the first whispers something into the ear of the person next to them. The spoken message was then relayed all the way around the circle in the same fashion until it reaches the original message sender. The larger the circle, the greater the difference between the original message and the final relayed version.

Long before the Council of Nicea ever met there has always been something hidden. Something secret. By studying ancient texts, science, architecture, iconography/symbology, secret societies, and current reports, I can see a pattern emerging from the chatter. But that's just me. Hard to deny the fact that it would barely be possible to make a pyramid even with todays technology. Ancient architecture from around the world indicate this same fact.

Giza, Egypt.

This is taking to long... here:

To assume their is ETI and search for signals from them isn't that far from believing they may possess the technology to travel through space. Hell, if we can do it, (to a certain degree), why couldn't they do it? I bet no one here doubts for even a moment, that we will, one day, travel the Galaxy. Are we so self important and blind to believe no one else could do it today? Not long ago we were riding horses and reading by candle in our out-houses.

Here are some people from NASA, US Army, US Marines, US Airforce, CIA, NSA, and JPL, telling their accounts of events spanning the last 50 years.

I have a large selection of ancient texts, mostly in PDF format, if anyone is interested. I also have all the links to sites that specialize in it, like:

Plenty of current book reviews, too.

Good luck in all you do.

HA few months ago scholars thought the city of Troy was just a myth.
It was my understanding that Heinrich Schliemann found Troy around one century ago.
[EDIT: I heard that reported back in November or December of 1999.]

Woops,

Speed typing isn't good for anyone. My mistake.

Still... 136 years off isn't too remote in retrospect.

Insert suitable expletives...!

I've done hanggliding... With their sort of glide angle, they ain't got much room for manoeuvre! They also need a convenient cliff to run off at the end to gain some space to pull a 'chute...

Spectacularly silly!

Meanwhile, have you got those sprites that I posted sussed? The truth there is more spectacular than the Star Wars Death Star!

Still waiting on your comments about the tether pics about a foot down this page, lol.

I probably won't use that iframe so here's direct link:

And the teather pics were well discussed and show nothing more than dust/debris (small out of focus particles) near or in the camera lens.

A quick glance there shows the very easily recognised spoofs/hoaxes.

OK, so you looked up what an "alien" sprite looks like?

Or are you just happy to dreamily spout only what 'looks right' for your dream ufo religion?

I'm sorry ML1,

I'm not religious and am uncertain where you could have come up with that idea. I sometimes enjoy conversing with you and sometime... not, lol. We seem to be unable to communicate. I just share data and you don't think it's real. Round and round we go. I try to see your point of view but just can't do it.

Your video of an egg hitting a hot rock at night on IR cam was truly a waste of time. IMHO. My tether pics and vids show the objects passing behind the tether. You can not or will not see it. That's fine.

I believe we should keep on posting without interacting. Let everyone form their own decision. We won't help them by playing, 'Point - Counterpoint".

Anyone have the ability to examine the tether video for us? I don't have the time or experience/equipment to verify it. I suppose I could sent NASA a request for a copy of the original, but why waste the time. The return letter would be nice to show off, though.

Those pictures range from 1870 to the present. History and Religion show a much longer time line. I just can't believe they were all made by crack-pots. I'm sure some were though, lol.

Onward

That is certainly an interesting interpretation.

What of the other details on that video? Such as time and scale?

Have you tried a web search for atmosphere sprite?

Have you got a video camera or a digital camera to hand that you can experiment with?

I didn't really pay attention to the stuff you posted. I'm sorry about that. I figured it was just an example of how video can be faked, manipulated, or misinterpreted. Was I wrong?

Yes, I have a digital cam but no vid.

I did check the vid he posted. Not that I completely followed what it was supposed to be, but I did not get the impression that he believed it was something fake. If any of what you listed, maybe misinterpretation, but I am not even sure about that.
Is your digital camera only for still shots or for video. If for video, but you have no cassettes, if you have the right port on a laptop computer and the right cable, you can do your experimenting. :)

Hans C. Stenbaek-Nielsen

Geophysical Institute, University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Alaska

Abstract

Intensity-calibrated color video recordings of three barium-shaped charge injections in the ionosphere were used to determine the initial ionization, the column density corresponding to unity optical depth, and the yield of vaporized barium in the fast jet. It was found that the initial ionization at the burst was less than 1% and that 0% burst ionization was consistent with the observations. Owing to the Doppler shift, the column density for optical thickness in the neutral barium varies somewhat according to the velocity distribution. For the cases examined here, the column density was 2-5×1010 atoms/cm2. This value, which occurred 12 to 15 s after release, should be approximately valid for most shaped charge experiments. The yield was near 30% (15% in the fast jet) for two of the releases and was somewhat lower in the third, which also had a lower peak velocity. This study also demonstrated the applicability of the computer simulation code developed for chemical releases by Stenbaek-Nielsen and provided experimental verification of the Doppler-corrected emission rates calculated by Stenbaek-Nielsen (1989). © American Geophysical Union 1994
