I am out of work this morning, and getting the above error messages... According to the server status page, everything is running fine. What can I try on my end? Is the problem on my end? Anyone else seeing this?

Well from looking at the Berkeley network graphs it would appear they had a problem here on the main project starting around 0400 PST and lasted for about 4 hours.

I assume you tried doing a manual update?

Well, I guess the posts were well hidden then, cause I don't see any of em.

I have tried that. And resetting the project. I did not detach/reattach, because I thought I would see if I am alone here first.

Hmmm, you may want to try issuing the ipconfig /flushdns command from the command prompt to see if that helps.

BTW, resetting probably isn't something you want to do, at least at first, since that will kill any results you have onboard including ones waiting to report.

Very true, but all my work did report, it was just not getting new work. A manual update just resulted in two work units downloading, so at least I have a couple to keep me occupied for 1.5 hours. Maybe things will settle in the mean time. Thanks.

No problemo.

Here's a link to the the appropriate new Cricket graphs:

inr-250/gigabitethernet2_3

That should help you to decide what course of action to take. One other problem with a reset as a general TS tool is if there is a network slowdown in progress, it may delay getting your host restarted if it can't get the DL of the science app files right away. That shouldn't be an issue if you run opti apps, but something to keep in mind.

If you have a look at the server status page you will see that the cupboard is bare!

There are no workunits to be had at the time of writing this but the splitters are running at a rate of 6.81 workunits/second.

Someones eaten all the pie!

Server is now being swamped with requests for new work so result reporting will be a hit & miss affair.

The team will be aware of this just give them time.

Those of us with a few days of cached work could help out by setting our system/s to "No new work".

This will take the load off the server and give those with no work an opportunity to download some.

I have my servers to "no new work", they should be OK for a couple of days. Hope it helps a little.
