The question is very unclear. The log you posted is repetitive, running from 3/5/2007 1:26:20 PM to 3/6/2007 7:00:31 AM and then repeating the same range. But I see no relation to your "CPU says 2 hours - it's actually more like a day". Perhaps you could restate what you're wondering about?

The long posting including the log is not relevant that I can see. If you are refereing to the estimated time to complete the work unit being wrong then you need to check the duration correction factor. It, the DCF, will correct itself but this happens as you crunch and takes a large number of workunits cruched to be completed and sent in. Usually about 30 or so.

note: i have been crunchin' since June 20th 2006 (the Present Credit of 16,130) - i believe that the RAC is runnin' on the basis that i started on the Date shown on my Profile being 20 Feb 2003 . . . THIS is NOT the case

anybody know what i mean?

(THIS is only ONE Problem that i see btw)

btw 2 - the Present crunchin' SEEMS to be goin' along fine - safe the FACT that it shows a few hours (after workin' 100% for a day - or so . . .) i shall be sendin' another in any time now - that's 2 for the past three days - since i re-installed again . . .

I would say stop getting any new unit, finish the ones you have, uninstall Boinc and then reinstall using verion 5.8.11 and see if the problems continue. A pain in the neck, absolutely, but trouble shooting usually is. That will eliminate any possibility of it being the new version of the program, assuming the units still take forever to crunch. Then you are down to whatever is new on the pc. I know you recently installed Picasa, could it be using alot of your cpu time looking for new files? Do a ctrl+alt+del and then go to Task Manager and then the Processes tab and click on the word cpu and it will sort the tasks by the percentage of the cpu each is using. This probably should be done before the switching to an older version, it may point out the area to look.

@ mikey - Thanks for the Post Sir!

No. 1 - been using ctrl-alt-del for long time mi friend - as well as TCPView v2.40 MS Sysinternals

No. 2 - plus Installed PICASA a long time ago - and NO - it's NOT usin' resource etc . . .

No. 3 - system idle is usually @ "0" . . .

No. 4 - used v5.8.11 before and had the SAME PROBLEMS (Time etc) . . .

@ Present - the Units are crunchin' (though the time factor is mi Main Concern) - just sent another in ;) 16162.51 RAC = 13.99

Note: from mi Question:
June 20th 2006 (the Present Credit of 16,130) - i believe that the RAC is runnin' on the basis that i started on the Date shown on my Profile being 20 Feb 2003

the *Reference* is to the Date of June 20th 2006 - @ which time - i started the CREDITS that are showing (the *others* got lost or whatever) and the Date shown on the DATABASE is February 20 2003 . . .

My Question would therefore be: Does THIS Factor change (or Influence) the SCIENCE and alter the RAC ???

and NOW - addin' Insult to Injury ---------> STATS Page Thread i don't EXIST there either ;)
