I couldn't find the original Thread on this issue; however, I believe that I have received my first two WUs that are Ghosts... These WUs claim to have been assigned to my Dad's machine in Northern California on the 15Th and 16Th of February.

These WUs are not and were not downloaded on those dates... I told Farragut, (the Intel 3.2GHz machine listed in my computers), "NNW" on the evening of the 15Th of Feb. The remaining two WUs that it was working on did finish the morning of the 16Th. I made sure that they were "Uploaded" and "Reported" properly. Following the completed "Report"; I then renamed the Startup Shortcut and moved it to "Start==>All Programs==>BOINC" Folder in the Startup list. Then I closed and exited BOINC on Farragut. (All in preparation for my return trip to SoCAL; as, I promised Dad that BOINC would not run on his machine unless I was there.)

With BOINC removed from the Startup and also exited manually by me late in the morning on the 16Th of Feb, there is no way that these two "In Progress" WUs were downloaded to Farragut. My Parents don't understand the whole DC thing, and just don't want it running unless I am there.

So, what happens now with these two WUs allegedly and reportedly assigned to Farragut? Is there any way for Eric or Matt to "kill" them on their end?

I am supposed to have received this WU on 8 February with a reporting deadline 54 days later (a record?). But it had never been downloaded. It's not a problem, the quorum is already met and the record will disappear from the database after 3 April.
