very well puttet here golden goose,

if no synchronisation, no update to local saved preferences.

basicaly, if the values are known (probaly only over try & error)
they could changed on the client side, at least until next update, this for
"forcing" to change the clients behaviour for more than one project

CPDN: 50 / (50 + 100) = 1/3
seti: 100 / (50 + 100) = 2/3

exactly this was my setting. CPDN was progressing and progressing, but even afther a day, no "switch", seti did not progessing.

changed to 500/100 (in gui:90%seti 10%cpdn) on the account page under the clients venue and -->update

now the project seti is progressing like as "usual", CPDN looks like
"not" progressing. Showing the % value of the CPDN yesterday/today, the increased about 1%. The client's estimate for CPDN about 750+- Hours.

unfortunately, the same happened as for other users, Client(gui4.06 seti 4.03) mades by by and I had to reProxy, reAttach both project and reDownload "all". The Work, the WUs itself where still on the folder, but the clientstate.xml was re-created from scratch.

Both attached project got work and now after about 12 hours, still allive.
how long? ;-)

the CPDN progressed 0.23 % from then

Still learning how to deal with the settings

wishing all no crashing systems

Ok, I shut down boinc and changed the xx value to be "99.000", as it was "0.000", under the seti project (there were two references, as CP is also on the same machine))

(values were (debt)xx(not debt) but the forum seems to strip things like less tan and greater than!

I then restarted boinc, and Cp is crunching away!

Could it be that this gets reset each time the client tries to hit the server?

sorry looked into bad dir..
have this "debt"1308.147726"/debt

so your guess is the value must be greater "00". sounds good.

What are your values?

shown in gui: 90.91% seti 9.09% cdpn with above debt

Ric,

How do you know the Q code ???

OK here is what I don't understand.

1) You said you could not open my audio link "anti-leech protection"
2) Dogbytes post an audio link saying my hard drives been checked
and that will teach me.
3) Then you tell Dogy it was a clean thread with no sigi infiltration.

Help !?!?!?!?

had the signature file on. normaly every there is not messages without
the signature,

"anti-leech protection"
well using ie, pached as a hell, tried to open your puzzle and got the message.
using relatively high level securiy setting for browser

YOU should give an anwser, what this part of sience contribution is, btw sience, the monkey, earlier posted by you could also not open

> How do you know the Q code ???

started with CB 27MHz, build own dipol, later seeking for DX call, but today only rpc calls.

What answer should I give, to who ?

I must be very "slow" this morning...I know Dogbytes was jokking about
looking around my hard drive but I am still trying to find the link
between all our last posts.

Maybe Dogbytes is still here and he can "help" me understand.
God I have never been so lost and I'm not on any drugs...

Reading between the lines, does "we will be down for the night" really
mean "we will be down all weekend" of course it is Friday afternoon
here in China as I write this....forgive me for being a skeptic.
On a lighter note: As an American I can say "damn I miss baseball..."
