Geez. I hope the early birds didn't gobble up the 100,000 WUs that were supposed to be all queued up and ready to go already....

I needed to delete a bunch of context files (client_state.xml client_state_prev.xml sched_request.xml sched_reply.xml) to get it to even ask the scheduler. Not sure if I needed to get rid of all 4 of them, but I did. Then I had to merge the "new" computers with the old ones.

Actually we got the number of results to send out to 500k...

With another 100k to 200k waiting to be processed...

Seems as though the schedulers are down or swamped. I tend to think they might be down since I have noticed that when the schedulers are up, the forums respond slower. When the schedulers are down the forums respond very quickly. And they are responding very quickly at this point.

Just a wild observation.

Actually its been fluctating since 10.

I guess they are swamped because my client keeps fluctating between No Work and No Schedulers Responded. =/ I wonder if some of the handlers are on the fritz as obviously there is work as some people are getting WUs.

I've been trying since 10 Pacific to get work to no avail. =(

I received work units on 3 of my machines. Everything seemed to be going well and then all of a sudden it quit. I can't get any other clients to connect, every attempt now reports failure.

I am patient though.
