APK P.S.=> I'd like to thank some of the folks here who have responded to my 2 postings regarding my experimentation with diff. modified SETI@Home 4.18x & BOINC.exe clients! (That would be trux & crew mainly, but also others who responded to my posting about Floating point ops vs. Integer ops & which is more important to the overall speed of this project's calculating + output abilities speed) Your efforts in compiler optimization, redoing the clients in diff. compilers with better optimizations specific to CPU types? It's definitely helped here @ home running the units faster, no doubt about it. Right now, I can process a single unit in about 1 hr per unit, which imo & experience (fairly limited, most of my time is spent on work related tasks & data lately so my free reading time is limited) is good...
