Love it. I burnt an image on a CRT when I first started SETI. Shouldn't the bottom line, "SETI @ HOME" or whatever it says move too?

Unbelievable... are you feeling OK? Should we get a doctor in?

Someone who loves the Seti@Home wobbling screen saver? Wow!

LOL

Good for you. It's refreshing to see compliments here. Thanks at least for the laughs.

You're correct, the SETI@Home logo is fixed, it's just the rest that... moves.

I hope you understand, the motion of the screen saver has been, as long as I've been reading these boards, near or at the top of the complaints about the new SETI@Home. "...inducing motion sickness" was one recent description. As with Ageless, you're the first I've seen who likes it!

Thought the logo doesn't move, you can adjust other settings for the screen saver. You set your graphics preferences at the Project's preferences. As an example of how they can work, this page describes how to make it emulate the original screen saver.

Hey guys and girls. I'm not trying to make enemys. I just know that a LOT of people are still useing CRT's and don't need to burn images on an old monitor. AND whats wrong with screen saver. Much "cooler" than old!!! I must admit that I may be more "hip" then some from having 11 kids here and gone. You can LEARN a lot by listening and BEING there for them!!! Don't get in a rut.

And you're not making any enemies! 8-) It was a good thing for us that your message came from a polar opposite direction from the other messages about the screen saver! It was refreshing to read, and a break in the patterns we've seen.

I also wanted to make sure you had the information so you could play with it, change the motion, colors and so forth. But if you're happy with it as it is, that's great. 8-)
