i have seti bonic but cant get work
i joined pirates@home and it will use my user id to log in but the bonic program cant get in.
i tried to help predictor out but the site is down for matnince and the one time it wasn't the account creator was shut off so you couldn't help.

PLEASE TRY NOT TO JUST ARGUE LIKE THE NO WORK FROM PROJECT AGAIN THREAD IS. THAT PLACE IS MESSY. they dont know what they are talking about. just like how they were whining about people who get alot of work will be fine cause geuss what im one of those "heavy lifters" etc. and im out.

Just because there is a message that it should work does not mean that it will work. I tried to start BOINC and SETI@Home again my ownself this afternoon and I also can't get work.

So, I went back to classic... It is pretty funny actually, I never had problems in BETA getting work and having the computer happy... now, well, lets just say that it is a good thing I did not delete my SETI Classic directories.

Hang in there, they will get it fixed sooner or later.

Well I just got 2 work units so things are working again, but the servers are probably extremely overloaded now with however many tens of thousands of clients trying to get work. As far as the other 2 projects, my suspicion is that they were overloaded as well when many people from S@H decided to give them a try because they couldn't get any work from seti. Both of the other projects are still in early development so they don't have very beefy hardware yet.

Yes, work is scarce. We can only hope it comes back up soon.

The project has been shut down. Apparently they were just playing with the system, and weren't ready for users.
