I just wiped my ME box for XP Pro.
"Problem" Since changing to the password plan how do I attach to seti with BOINC? I tried with old acct. I.D., no go, Tried with new password no go.
How do I attach?

Did you make sure that you didn't have any extra spaces added on to the beginning or end of you account ID or name?

NA no extras, and they never sent a confirmation e-mail after I changed over.

I wonder if yours is one of the accounts that was deleted. I think this thread talks about it.

I'm not sure. I haven't changed mine from the one that was originally emailed to me.

I just know that I have had trouble attaching before because of the extra spaces. More than once.

I'm so ashamed.

not sure if this will help or not but in the past when there are connection problems the client will try to attach fail and then detach. you may want to wait untill connection probs go away or you may to keep trying repeatedly reentering project URL ancount key. as far as I know this is still the only way to attach, the e-mail password is only for accessing your account online.
