I'm on an AMD 64 3000+ overclocking to 2 Ghz... Using an optimized client. I also have an older AMD running an optimized client. Plus i have a 1.4 ghz intel centrino laptop going at it. And then an old 360 mhz laptop. Thats how i get all my credit. But the majority of it comes from my AMD 64.

hmmm..im using an AuthenticAMD mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2200+ and I'm freakin only have a RAC of 42.75...ur 360 mhz is not far behind me??

Yeah, do you run your 24/7? I have all mine on run always. You should maybe look into an optimized client. http://www.marisan.nl/seti/ they have 3 different versions to try, I like the middle one for me, just figure out which one works for yours if you are willing to try it.

hmmm...good question..I was considering joining other projects..but as JOE JOE said the founder..his friend is unavailable til mid August..I would certainly like to think that they would..it would help draw more memebers.

I dont know, i dont know how that works. I currently just do SETI@home. But if you want to do multiple projects go ahead, and recruit for us to get the other projects built up for us as well.

You gotta do what it said. You unzip those files you download and put them in the right folder. Its pretty simple. make sure to run the optimized BOINC client as well so your credit evens out right. If you have AIM talk to me on JoeNM06 on there, it'd be easier to help that way.

So, if I am joined to one team already, and I switch, will all my credit go to the new team? Or do they remain and any new credits go to the new team? The Team I joined back in link 2000 was Intel Corperation but I don’t really think anyone is doing much in that group anymore. :Þ

Thx
~Keith

Just the credit made after you join the team would go to the new team. We could use you on the team :D

I'll be checking your times myself, its interesting how much it can improve your times. Before i went optimized it took about 2 and a half hours to finish a WU, now it takes under 1 hour and 20 minutes usually. You will claim less credit probably, but that wont matter much because you will be able to get more done and you probably arent getting what you claimed granted to you since its pretty high. What important is that we are getting more science done...but its fun to be competitive. but im off to bed for the night, i'll check this in the morning

How would your team be cooler? There's a heatwave going on in large parts of your country at this moment. ;)

But no thanks. I'm not American and I sure don't ever want to become one.
I'm at home in the whackiest team out there: The Final Front Ear. The smallest big team out there!

I doubt that they would notice you gone!
