I'm on an AMD 64 3000+ overclocking to 2 Ghz... Using an optimized client. I also have an older AMD running an optimized client. Plus i have a 1.4 ghz intel centrino laptop going at it. And then an old 360 mhz laptop. Thats how i get all my credit. But the majority of it comes from my AMD 64. hmmm..im using an AuthenticAMD mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2200+ and I'm freakin only have a RAC of 42.75...ur 360 mhz is not far behind me?? ID: 140591 ·

You unzip those files you download and put them in the right folder. Its pretty simple. make sure to run the optimized BOINC client as well so your credit evens out right. It does seem to be working faster!!! I'll be checking your times myself, its interesting how much it can improve your times. Before i went optimized it took about 2 and a half hours to finish a WU, now it takes under 1 hour and 20 minutes usually. You will claim less credit probably, but that wont matter much because you will be able to get more done and you probably arent getting what you claimed granted to you since its pretty high.
