Hi, I'm a SetiClassic user since 1999 with more than 15000 completed WUs. In our office only two PCs have Internet connection, but more than 40 computer runs Seti. we don't want to connect more computers to the Internet, but we would like to help Seti. Now my computer runs SetiQueue, caches WUs, manages the WU transfers and the result uploads via HTTP proxy. It gives statistics of all the computers, WUs, results, etc. Is there any similar utility or built-in procedure to use the computing capacity of those (offline) computers? |

Not at present, with Boinc the computer that downloads must do the work or it is rejected. Semper Eadem So long Paul, it has been a hell of a ride. Park your ego's, fire up the computers, Science YES, Credits No. |

Run a proxy on one of the computers with internet connection. Tell BOINC about the proxy. Try the searchable Wiki. Here's an Installation Guide. Try the Wiki for other questions. |
