So these two functions, a constant and e^x, are walking down the street walking, talking and having a good old time. "I think it's about time for a change," said the constant, but just as he was about to elaborate, he saw a derivative across the street. "Oh crap, I gotta get out of here! If he catches me, I'm toast!" cried the constant.

At this, e^x scoffed and said, "He can't touch me, I'm invincible!" and he introduced himself to the derivative.

"Nice to meet you e^x," replied the derivative, "I'm dy/dt."
