Am I the only one getting this message?

Usually means the server is down or has just come back up and is now experiencing a backlog as all host are hitting the lines.....

However, it can be a communications problem anywhere in the system from a mis configured local firewall or a proxy not passing information to an ISP that has de-peered Cogent to the Cogent link being overloaded to the servers being down. At the moment, I suspect that the servers are a bit overloaded.

Is there any way to tell if the is at BOINC problem is from the web site? I am having a similar problem.
What I notice is that if I delete my project and add it I can contact BOINC. If my project is simply running along I very rarely can contact BOINC (No scheduler responded). It is really very annoying.

Did you already tried using the "Update" button in the tab "Projects" to see if this resolves the problem?
By using this button, Boinc will contact once again the server.
