Unless you are in the top 1000, there is no way to determine your current rank (you could until last night when they began enforcing the restriction that you can only access the first 1000 only). What would be nice would be to see your rank on your account page like in s@h1.

Seti has dissabled 1000+ because it produces un needed stress on their servers.

I also agree. Working in the technology sector, I don't see where keeping these statisics would "stress" the servers. How did seticassic handle this? These are many ways to accomodate these statistics.

Seti@home classic did an excellent job giving and comparing user statistics; I would think that using BOINC would give advancements in statisics, not less functionality. I personally liked the statistics that compared a user to others who started the same day.

Only the top 1000 users account for a very small percentage of total users. Classic had over 4 million users - assuming that those users would transfer to BOINC, that would mean BOINC is keep statistics for only .025% of it's users.

Although user statistics is not a priority now (with all the problems BOINC has had going live) I hope to see a great advancement in statistics.

Well I've asked several times to have such an info added to the Boinc DB, but no chance. According to the latest Infos, Boinc will only supply the XML files, the rest is up to 3rd Parties to create useful statistics out of them :|

I had written a small PHP script which reads the XML files from the server and displays your personal stats, however this makes no sense anymore as I have to read ALL data to get infos like World-Ranking etc.

But maybe this will be change in the future after Boinc is finally working as expected...
