I have been processing data as a single home user for quite awhile and am wondering if my small contribution is still welcomed. And if it is, then should I download now? Seems many are having issues with the software. If the preference for processing data is multiple systems and teams process which it seems this site is designed for so much for a loyal user. Sput |

I'm sure any and all contribution is welcomed. The team aspect is just "for fun" as even the individual stats are. The main point is getting the analysis done; the teams and stats are just gravy so users have something to compare or brag about. :) I think the software itself is pretty stable; I've seen a few posts of XP problems. It's the project servers that have been having real problems. Right now, all seems pretty good. We'll hope it continues that way. :) |

Yes stay we need everybody, at last count that I know there is only 15 to 16 thousand cruchers. I have two computers at home and using two at work. I was doing consulting from home and had one give me problems, I decided I could not be without one at home so I bought a second. I fix the first by reinstalling XP, well I didn't need the second. This is the only reason I have 2 at home. So hang in there. Fred BOINC Alpha Tester BOINC Beta Tester |

I'm a solitary user also but I find it exiting to be able to use this new approach of S@H. I have been using Boinc for a couple of months now. There were some software problems but that was from the time when Boinc was not yet released. Since the final release, I did not had any software problem at all. I am working with XP SP1. Be welcome to the club. Greetings from Belgium. |
