i just installed the latest version, released on May 25 i think. just wondering what select computer means? should i know what it means?

You can control the BOINC installation of one computer from another BOINC installation. You have to set up the BOINC installation to be controlled to allow it.

is it just me, is SETI@H still not working? it is not responding to the latest linux version or seting up on my computer.

the servers must be bogged down with requests right now. Wait a few hours or a day.

I just downloaded the new version...but I'm just gonna use the BOINC manager becuase I'm using the optimized version of BOINC for Linux. But it says wrong password everytime I start it. Anyone know why ?
