| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

- I run SETI@Home because I think that there is life out there in the universe, that space is very vast and that there could be more civilizations like ours out there.
- For my computer, it averages one workunit in 3 hours, but now since I installed the optimized application for Linux x86_64 about the beginning of September 2008, I can finish a standard workunit in less than half that time, about an hour.
