I have been wondering how long it would be before someone would notice ...

I have a trouble call in to the provider ... unfortunatly with our current state of coporate greed, the help people don't seem to have their act together...

They are claiming that it is a fault of my scripts, except that the scripts were not changed. I even pointed to the line of code that is the problem:

// do output buffering, send page/flush buffer is called in the footers
ob_start();

which if commented out allows the system to operate. So, even if it HAD been a permissions problem, what happened to the site to change script permissions? Nothing *I* did ... so, I am still wading through the ill-informed "technicians" who are claiming since it is a flaw in the script they can't do anything about it...

Changing providers is not likely to make a difference in that EVERYBODY's customer service stinks now a days ...

Anyway, the Wiki is up ...

I changed my link to go directly to the boinc-wiki, not ideal but it works :)
Need help? Check out the excellent Unofficial BOINC-Wiki!

I don't think I have this as a log yet, so, yes this may be the first sighting. What were you doing when it happened?

Just a project reset? were you successfully attached? do you have the earlier part of the log?

If so, zip it up and send it to me please ...

I had just pushed the reset button for SETI@home Beta Test (as noted by the first entry). The last previous entry for SETI@home Beta Test was a couple of hundred entries previous.

[edit]
Yes, I was successfully attached. The scheduler had been pointed to the wrong project and we were requested to do a reset. I have now sent the entire log.

That particular message just has got to go. The 4.4x scheduler obviates the need for it.

Thanks, but already have that one ... better luck with the next one ... :)

There are plenty needed ... if you look at the list I have my work cut out for me ...

There are about 400 different messages, not including the project specific ones, and this is with simplifications where, for example, I consider all the messages like the above that have an error code of -113 to be the same as the ones with code -109 (or whatever).

Boinc says it downloaded files but never received them.
It work fine until I attached to SETI@Home Beta on the 15 Jun which uses setiathome_4.00_windows_intelx86.exe
It looks like I received wu but none made to my computer, but the web page [my account] says I have received them.
I looks like boinc is looking to link the seti wu to 4.18 not to 4.11.

This should be link to seti app 4.11

Error from a teammate. Anyone know what causes this?

I cannot get a wu to complete without a client error half way through.
On my result page under Result ID I get this message

{core_client_version}4.45{/core_client_version}
{message} - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)
{/message}
{stderr_txt}

***UNHANDLED EXCEPTION****
Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x7C910C27 read attempt to address 0x0096FCF5

{/stderr_txt}

I have detached and reattached, changed prefs and shouted at it really loud but to no avail. No problems with any other projects

of course replace brackets with arrows. I forgot the code to do that. :I
