Right -- I wonder about that here as well -- I think the answer is the work is wasted -- could be wrong though. It ought to be interesting when they finally get back online. Wonder how they are going to handle all those WU's that had a closeout date during the time they were out of communication ... ???? |

From Einstein's main page: May 26, 2005 Einstein@Home has been down for nearly 24 hours due to a server failure. The problems started at 05:40 May 25 UTC and we are still not sure what caused the problem. May 26, 2005 The planned maintenance for Thursday will be postponed to a later date due to a server failure. And Predictor's says: 5/25/05 We should start sending out work again on Thursday.
