2. If that were the case there should be a steady stream of signals in that same direction.
3. If we sent out a signal it would be millions of years before it arrived at it's destination.

5. Would we recieve an answer before that happened?
6. Would there ever be a way to communicate in real time?

1. How do you know it would be that old?
Maybe there is a civilization that just developed the technologies
to send that signal in a way we haven't though of yet.....

2. Not necessarily, They could be just swinging the dish in the opposite direction...
